CALS Space Exchange

This site facilitates the efficient use of CALS on-campus space by providing a

• Listing of available office, lab and class rooms that CALS Departments are no longer using, and
• Listing of requests seeking new space by CALS Departments.

CALS Departments are encouraged to use this tool to start inter-departmental conversations about exchanging or acquiring space.

CALS Departments submit both the available room and the seeking room listings by completing the on-line forms.

Department Heads and Business Managers have secure access to the site, and by default have authorized the available and seeking listings.

Mitch McClaran, Assistant Director of the Arizona Experiment Station will

• Screen all listings before they are posted to confirm the accuracy of information,
• Delete inaccurate listings,
• Help broker exchanges between Departments, and
• Give final approval of exchanges to the UA Office of Real Estate Administration.
